The West University "Vasile Goldis" has seven faculties: Law Faculty,
Marketing Management and I.T. Faculty, General Medicine Faculty, Stomatology, Christian
and Human Studies Faculty, Political Science Faculty, Sports Faculty and a college.
The scientific research center of the university includes the Medical Research and
Functional Exploration Center, Bone Tissue and Tegument Bank, Cellular and Molecular
Biology Research Center, Ecology Research Center, Medical I.T. Center, Research and
Business University Center.

following the activity of the Faculty of Engineering, belonging to the Polytechnics Faculty
Timisoara, which functioned in Arad between 1972 - 1990, the University "Aurel Vlaicu" was
